Apex City Hotel

Absolutely fantastic stay for 2 nights. Location was perfect and the view of the castle from room 4113 was amazing. Did wonder if we would get disturbed with noise from bars across street but it was very very quiet

We stayed at this hotel after hearing mixed reviews, mostly good. On arrival we were offered two available rooms. We prefer quiet so were told there was a room available which was suitable for us. The room was immaculately clean and smelled fresh. Complimentary drinks and snacks and a wonderful little duck were a lovely extra. Air conditioning was great and the bed was extremely comfortable. We loved being able to fill our water bottle using the fountain at the end of the hallway; a very nice sustainable touch. We didn't eat at the hotel, so cannot comment on food, but we would both highly recommend this hotel. Our stay was one of the best we have had and we will definitely be back when we next return to Edinburgh.

Excellent location and offers parking Restaurant was not operational when we visited but Grassmarket is so lovely we didn’t notice Staff is very helpful and rooms are well appointed. Would recommend as a good option for a place close to old town that has easy road access
