City Centre Group Holiday Apartments

We booked this apartment in April of 2015 in anticipation of our August trip, well-aware that the Festival and Military Tattoo would make lodging scarce. A few weeks before our departure, the hotel staff emailed to say there were new owners, and that the new management was not honoring reservations made previously. Suspecting a bait and switch to get more money out of patrons, I emailed the police in Edinburgh. They substantiated the report of new ownership. As a result we had to accept a place out of town with fewer amenities and at a higher cost.
