Edinburgh Townhouse

We booked direct to stay here at Easter 2020. Obviously we couldn’t due to the pandemic. Owner would not refund us but said we could rebook which was fine by us as we wanted to visit the city when allowed. Since then, nothing. No one answering the phone, replying to emails, letters. Nothing. TODD HETHERINGTON, you owe me £256! The same bloke was having midnight (no doubt whiskey fuelled) rants on Facebook criticising Booking.com for refunding customers who booked through them without his ‘permission’. Ranting about how they didn’t give him a chance to build up a ‘relationship’ with his customers. How laughable! Looks like I’m not the only person who has lost out to this thieving git! I hope you have lost everything. Your home, business. The lot!

Most Horrendous Owner Ever Encountered, Had paid in full, for a long weekend, Covid had kicked in and after numerous email/phone calls, he never replied. It’s my fault that Covid happened and he is struggling with his business. Well, life is simple, you have kept my money £360 and I wish you all the best at my expense, but the ;’Tables Always turn’ on your type of people.

A total rip off we booked for a wedding and paid up front for the total amount Covid kicked in and the wedding was cancelled for Sept this year I made loads of calls and sent loads of e mails No reply for ages despite following the answer phone message Eventually got back and agreed to transfer the booking to next year Wrong they booked me in on the origional date swnt me all the codes etc Despite loads of call s the week before not answering calls and not replying to e mails If you book you cannot guarentee you will have a room AVOID AT ALL COSTS
