Mansion Apartments - Fountainbridge

We really enjoyed our stay at Fountainbridge Apartments. Had all of our party been able to walk better we would have been able to walk / public transport to almost everything we wanted to see. We had a number of rooms all to ourselves which works really well for a family group. Only thing we'd ask the property to improve is letting guests and staff know all their conversations in the courtyard late at night / early morning are clearly audible and potentially disturbing to others!

This place was not good, it was more like a student halls/ hostel. There were hairs in the bed, a ripped chair and the room was dirty. The shared bathroom was cold and the drains were blocked so water didn't go down when you showered. I would not recommend.

Perfect for our trip. Great location, about half mile to Grassmarket. Two bedroom, two bath. Living room and kitchen. Very clean. Very responsive and friendly staff. Laundry in unit. Went to visit my daughter studying at Edinburgh University -- comfortable and lots of room to stretch out. Tesco store around corner. Safe neighborhood. Easy access to public transport, restaurants, etc. Highly recommend and will return!
