Early morning arrival returning from holiday in Kefalonia, so not at our best after a long day. First problem, parking; yes they tell you it is limited, but is it really acceptable for a large panel truck to be parked horizontally across four spaces? Thankfully the very helpful lady on Reception allowed us to park in a restricted space. Up later the same morning and second problem; no shower curtain in the bathroom! (yes really!). My wife had to get dressed, go down to Reception to be provided with a shower curtain which I had to fit before either of us could get washed and dressed. Poor, really, really poor!

Great location however in serious need of a refurbishment. Arrived to find no parking due to numerous trade vans on site. Hotel is very tired, skirting boards wrecked and hallway carpets worn and threadbare. Entered the room to a horrendous sour stench coming from a shower curtain, which I binned. Skirting boards on toilet all warped and rotten from numerous leaks. Would not recommend this hotel whatsoever.

Reception staff very efficient helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable although the view was not good however cant give everyone a room with a view. The bathroom was modern with shower gel and hand was provided. Tea and coffee making facilities provided with more available in reception if needing replenished
