Princes Street Suites

The suites are very central to the middle of Edinburgh with easy access to the coach tours that operate from outside and the railway station. The suites were very comfortable to stay in and we had the addition of a balcony which was great to sit in on an evening. The apartment had everything we needed in it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only feedbck we have had relates to the provision of sofa bed that we paid extra for and due to lack of suffient blinds meant that too much light got into the room and affected the person sleeping. Prior to our visit i asked for an apartment that would suit someone with poor mobility and this request ws accomodated. I would recoomend the princess street suites as a great place to stay.

The location was excellent, the room was clean, and I enjoyed my stay overall. Unfortunately, my experience was spoiled at check-out. The day before leaving, I asked a staff member (Miguel) if I could check out at 2:00 PM, and he told me it was not a problem. He never mentioned there would be a £75 charge. After I had already left the hotel, I was informed that I had been charged £75 for the late check-out. Had I been told about the fee beforehand, I would have either checked out earlier or decided whether I wanted to pay. I believe additional charges should always be explained clearly before they are applied. This lack of transparency was disappointing and left a negative impression despite an otherwise enjoyable stay.

We stayed 3 days at the Princes Street Apartment. When we arrived the apartment was cleaned and just lovely. We were excited to have our own space to all relax at night. Our room was on the side of the building closer to Waverly Train Station. If you had the windows open you could hear the train station announcements. It didn't bother us much. The area was busy with lots of foot traffic and hop on and hop off buses associates. The apartment was very close to everything. Definitely recommend this apartment/hotel to those with families, traveling with a group of people, etc.
