Smart @ Iq (Studio)

Good value - even during the Festival Fringe. Pretty good location too - 20/30 minutes walk to the Royal Mile and 10 minutes to the Conference Centre (a prime Fringe venue). Spotlessly clean. Comfortable. Smart. Stylish, even. We upgraded to a kitchenette apartment and the privacy for those 'wake up' coffees was well worth the extra money. And the staff couldn't have been more pleasant or helpful. Altogether a very positive experience and one that we would definitely choose again.

These apartments reminded me of my student days but much cleaner than my room ever was. Comfy bed, wee seating area and good shower. Even had a wee kitchen with micro and fridge. Central location, we walked to Murrayfield and Grassmarket. Staff very helpful.

Very happy with our choice. Nice clean and tidy mini apartment. We didn’t use any of the cooking facilities as we were only here for 1 night, but the fridge was handy for our drinks. Transport to city centre is nearby and frequent and there are nice bars and restaurants a stroll away. Our only minor gripe was that, due to it being an unusually hot day and night, we slept with the windows open. Unfortunately our room looked on to the Western Approach Rd which was busy and noisy all night. Most of the rooms don’t face this way so the next time I’d get another one facing away from the bypass. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay
