The Glasshouse

We had a nice family stay at The Glashouse Hotel. Nice location steps away from public transport and within walking distance to major tourist attractions. We were upgraded to a larger room which was clean and comfortable with a nice view of Calton Hill. The continental breakfast included for Titanium Elite members was a nice spread with a reasonable upcharge for hot items. Standout service by David B at the bell desk who helped with our many questions and gave us recommendations in Edinburgh. Overall great value but the hotel might benefit from a refresh soon.

Great location and excellent service! The front desk was particularly helpful with an issue relating to the airline losing our bag. The service in the Snug Lounge was great. Room was comfortable. Excellent location. Special thanks to the front desk for giving us some grace on the checkout time while we waited for our lost bag. Special thanks to Davie at the Bell Desk who was extremely helpful and provided excellent service. Would definitely choose again for our next trip to Edinburgh. Thanks

The hotel is lovely and very conveniently located. But more importantly, the concierges, David and Davie, were outstanding. They picked wonderful restaurants for us and made reservations. They also booked transportation from Edinburgh to Ballater, with a stop in Saint Andrews with Rob. That was a terrific day and made it so easy for us. David was always there to greet us each morning and gave us terrific suggestions on what Scottish food to try. Highly recommend!!
