Room 5 Door into room non fitting bathroom door same Lighting poor especially in bathroom Old carpets mixed carpet and worn in places in staircase Very tired looking furniture in rooms Tv on Wall was tiny Whole milk instead of semi skimmed No sweetners Plastic take away pot to hold milks biscuits and t bags Lacura liquid soap shampoo shower gel Broken tile bathroom Floor Mould on grouting in shower Glugging noise from drains heard during night and when everyone got up in morning Breakfast - cheap sausages. Baked beans like warm and a dessert spoonful of in size Tomatoes were sliced and cold not even cooked or grilled. Not proper apple or orange juice tasted like squash You order breakfast on a sheet of paper which is reused and previous orders rubbed out No tattie scones, square slice, mushrooms, hash browns.All in all should have gone to McDonald’s Positives - bedding towels and cutlery were clean Have stayed in cheaper premier inns. Wouldn’t stay again or recommend. Happy to be leaving and glad it was for one night only! On breakfast table small card saying rooms have been refurbished. Must have been in the 1980’s or before as the whole place reminded me of going to seaside as a kid seeing the Oder generation staying at hotels like this. Overall - avoid at all costs everything is done in the cheap!!!!

If you enter with a strong sense of humour, you might manage a laugh, but our stay here felt straight out of Fawlty Towers. The Positives To give credit where it’s due, the location is very convenient with a bus stop right outside, and the private parking was a major plus. The highlights of the stay were the staff—the lovely lady who served us and cleaned the room. She was truly doing her best despite the circumstances. The Room & Layout Issues Unfortunately, the accommodation itself fell far short of expectations: Unmentioned Shared Facilities: It was never clearly stated upfront that this room involved shared bathroom facilities. Tired Decor & Safety Hazards: The decor is well past its best. Our family room was a maze of extension cables, yet the kettle didn't even work. Cramped & Draughty Space: There was virtually no clearance space on the left side of the double bed, and the window couldn't close properly, letting in a constant draught. Cleanliness Concerns: The bottom bunk sat directly beside a gap near the window that was caked in dust and cobwebs. Paper-Thin Walls: You can hear everything—from full conversations in adjacent rooms to every single bathroom function. I was woken up just after 6:00 AM by noise so clear it felt like someone was brushing their teeth right next to my ear. The pillows were also rock hard. Breakfast Breakfast was severely disappointing given the steep price. It was served cold and extremely greasy, featuring a raw, uncut tomato simply dropped onto the plate rather than fried. Verdict Overall, this stay was vastly overpriced for the quality provided. Unless you're looking for a comedy of errors, look elsewhere.

Property with furniture not appropriate for the price being charged. Closet (if that can be defined as such) without doors, rod for hanging hangers. TV positioned to the side of the bed, not in front. Impossible to use. Bed resting on bricks. Breakfast lacking yogurt, espresso coffee. Strictly English, with little choice.
