If you’re staying just one night in a hotel in Scotland aim for Tigh na Sgiath in Dulmain Bridge. This is the epitome of luxury and warmheartedness. The host, Iain, and his wife Elaine couldn’t have done more to make our stay exceptional. Their home is baronial and stylish with the best breakfast we’ve ever had served on delicate bone china with the hottest tea in silver teapots. Just as proper tea should be. We now come to the end of our Scottish Highland journey and all four of us agree that Tigh na Sgiath was not only exceptional value but also the best overall hotel experience. Our heartfelt thanks to Iain and Elaine.

A beautiful historic house in a magical location, this inn is a hidden gem near the Cairngorms National Park. Hosts Iain and Elaine are wonderfully welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is beautifully prepared. Our spacious room, Ballindalloch, had a lovely view and a sitting area in the turret with windows all around--ideal for coffee in the morning. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

This might be the best accommodation for year 2026. The premises are out of a fairytale ,so quiet and surrounded by plenty of greenery. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The breakfast was also the best we’ve had so far. The hosts are incredible at making the guests feel very welcomed. I will recommend this accommodation to all my friends and family, it was indeed a very pleasant experience.
