Tom and Lukas were great, they looked after us very well during our bottomless brunch! Thank you

1st visit in 2yrs, it would have been 5 stars but I was made to feel very uncomfortable and upset through this incident, my son had 3 starters as a main meal, I wanted the creamy garlic chicken, garlic bread and pasta without the pasta as I don't eat it, and replaced with some fries, the waiter( who I found out was the manager) went to see the chef and the chef replied NO, so I asked for the chicken and garlic bread without the pasta and I'll pay for a portion of fries this was acceptable to the manager, a few minutes later the chef came out of the kitchen waving a chitty in his hand straight to the manager behind the bar, a heavy discussion then occurred which made me feel very uncomfortable and upsetting, I called the manager over and said if it's a problem I'll choose something else but again he said it was fine, after a long wait the food came out without my garlic bread, I asked for it and continued to eat the chicken so it didn't get cold, half way through it eventually came out, our meals were wonderful. I was an Area Manager for a national catering company and know all about GP's, it would have boosted his GP if I paid for the fries, would we visit again 100% we will due to the front of house staff who were brilliant, warm, friendly and very efficient

What a fantastic weekend we just had at The Cliff. I would agree that some of the rooms are a bit dated, but how much time do you want to spend in a hotel room!? That would be the only negative. The breakfasts were great, the staff are polite, friendly, and very hardworking. We were there for a weekend event, and have already booked to come back next year, twice! Don’t take too much notice of the previous reviews, we think the Cliff is great.
