Food was absolutely delicious, best roast dinner I have ever had and dessert (a dark chocolate tartlet) was amazing. The service top tier and staff were attentive. I cannot recommend the Dales enough, a hidden gem of the Norfolk coast. The new chef has certainly made a fantastic impression and isn’t afraid of flavour.

Excellent Sunday lunch the beef was so tender and the vegetables tasty . Would highly recommend.

A delightful experience at The Dales. Comfort and elegance, central to local sights and dog friendly beaches. The skilled staff (regardless of their years in hospitality) appeared discreet, friendly and well co-ordinated. They demonstrated care, professionalism, attentiveness and efficient teamwork. We enjoyed breakfasts and evening dining. The Upcher's chef listened to our need to remove sauces and salt and we enjoyed several tasty meals! We had a thoroughly restful few days and even saw the annual shooting stars "Lagrimas de San Lorenzo" from the back lawn on 12th August. Our dog met other calm, obedient friends in the designated areas and almost enjoyed a better break (to see the eclipse by the sea) than we did! I do hope we return some day!
