Haycock Hotel

We stayed at the Haycock Manor yesterday evening. We booked last minute with our dog, and were impressed and delighted from the moment we arrived. The staff could not have been more welcoming to us and our dog - we would never have expected such an exceptional hotel to allow dogs in the first place. The room was beautiful, wonderful toiletries in a well appointed bathroom, comfortable beds, and the breakfast we had this morning was the best ever. Set in a beautiful village, we were so happy we chose to stay here, and are now thinking of a reason to go back!

Had a wonderful 2 night stay from 11th July . Hotel in an excellent location near A1(M) and near the beautiful town of Stamford. Hotel beautifully designed throughout. Wonderful gardens to have a stroll in. Great receptionist very helpful named Rachel was always on hand. Our room the Nancy Cunard suite was large and luxurious. Had a delicious meal in the hotel restaurant on our last evening served by the lovely restaurant manager Robert. A great value 2 night stay .

I stopped off recently for lunch here, and was looked after by the wonderful Leon. It looks as though there has been a recent refurbishment, and the downstairs surroundings are lovely. I can recommend the smoked salmon baguette, which they kindly modified: leaving off the crisps and more salad. I enquired about the dog-friendly aspect, as I sometimes travel with my pet: a good provision. So, thank you to all concerned, I would recommend and look forward to returning.
