I travel for work and unfortunately was disappointed with the standard in this hotel. Although the hotel is located well for access to the city centre and has its own carpark general maintenance seems to be significantly lacking. Mould in the grout of showers. My shower had little pressure leaking everywhere. The room had clearly been cleaned in a hurry (things were missed) and in the restaurant my food order was lost and not reported as lost for a while. As friendly as the staff were this was not enough for me to stay again.

Decent hotel with chill atmosphere. Reasonable value and was clean on my visit. Central Peterborough with car park is a plus.

I booked this hotel specifically for the air conditioning as I was arriving on the hottest day of the year. However, after paying at check-in, I was informed the AC was broken. While there was a fan in the room, it did nothing to cool the space down. I spoke to the receptionist and asked if I could get a refund if I found another hotel. She agreed and said she would personally sort it out for me. After finding a new hotel 40 minutes later, I went to check out, only to be told I now had to request the refund through the third-party booking site I used. Since then, getting my money back has been a struggle. The third-party site reached out to the hotel and got no response, and my own attempts to contact them have been ignored. Every time I call, I am told someone will get back to me, but no one has. The broken AC was unfortunate, but the lack of communication and customer service afterward has made this a very poor experience.
