Mercure Norwich

Another great 2 week stay at the Mercure Hotel Norwich, I looked forward to my cool comfortable room every evening in the extreme hot weather. The air conditioning was fabulous. The Staff & cleaners work so hard to make sure all guests needs are attended to. I would like to mention a few of the staff who made my stay comfortable, Erin, Cat & Kayleigh on reception, Megan & Nicky on the bar, Jack & Chloe for room service & Julie & Jelvin in the restaurant for Breakfast. Great warm friendly team at the Mercure. See you all next time.

Very disappointed with Mercure. Have used them before and have always been lovely. This one however is tired, dated and in need of a refurb. The carpets were grubby and room was a little shabby. On the plus side the staff were friendly and bedding was clean. Location was ok -Atmosphere was lacking somewhat. I would say this is a hotel that would be best suited for business stopover. Paid £185 for Sat & Sun overnight stay breakfast incl. Wont book to stay here again though.
