Just returned from another brilliant long weekend at Piersland House Hotel while exhibiting at the Scottish Bear Fair, and once again it was a wonderful experience. The staff were fantastic throughout our stay. It’s always lovely to see familiar faces, and being remembered by the team really makes it feel like a home from home. Everyone makes a fuss of our daughter when we visit, but particular mention has to go to Jan, who always goes out of his way to entertain her at dinner — it means a lot and makes her feel so special. She absolutely loves helping him set the tables, when it's not too busy. We stayed in the Mews apartments, which are perfect for a small family. Having both a bath and a shower is ideal when you have little ones. The room and bathroom were spotless, with plenty of wardrobe space, and the hospitality trays were well stocked with drinks and toiletries. The food was delicious, as always, and reasonably priced. A huge thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable again. We’ll be back the same time next year.
