Sophie's Bed and Breakfast

This has to be the best place I have ever stayed. There are not words good enough to describe how good my stay was. The host is so friendly and accommodating. Bend over backwards to help. All the staff are wonderful as well. Breakfast is all local produce and tasted amazing and fills you up. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Lovely views from massive back garden. Very easy to find the location as well. Highly recommended!!!!!!

We stayed for 2 nights in this lovely accommodation. It is just a few miles outside Harrogate in a pretty, quiet village. There is a bus stop a few steps away if you want to leave the car for a day in Harrogate. Sophie owns the village deli and mini market as well as this bed and breakfast facility as part of a cafe and bakery. Locals pop in during the day for her lunches, coffees and freshly baked cakes. She is a welcoming, friendly and helpful hostess. Her large house also has a big garden with areas for relaxation and there is no problem with easy parking. Our room was a twin , light and comfortable with a large bathroom, effective heating and a powerful shower. The whole cafe breakfast menu is on offer in the morning for guests and Sophie will provide different choices if you request something. Wifi works well. The accommodation is next door to an old pub which serves good value and delicious food, sourced locally. The only improvement I might suggest is to provide a full length mirror in the bedroom!

We stayed at Sophie’s B&B for 4 nights. She was charming and very friendly and helpful. The room had a wonderful view out over the countryside. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.
