Lady Anne Middletons Hotel

Absolutely fantastic 2 night stay at this beautiful historic hotel! Upgraded to a stunning suite on our second night as there was a bit of a problem with the aircon in our first 'comfort' room! The lovely staff was quick to make everything right especially as it was my birthday (special thanks to Maria and Andrew!) and even went the extra mile by leaving a thoughtful gift of beautiful handmade chocolates in our new room! (A bottle of chilled champagne was already included in our 2 night special deal offered by booking direct with the hotel!) Excellent tapas in the cozy and smart restaurant in the evening and fantastic choice at breakfast! Beautiful modernised main building with well kept grounds and polite and friendly staff! Private parking on site was an absolute bonus! Would highly recommend this hotel which is a 5 -10minute walk from the centre of York and steps away from the river front..We won't ever stay anywhere else when visiting beautiful York in the future! Thanks to everyone for making my birthday extra special :) x Tip: Ask for one of the refurbished rooms if possible

Right in the heart of the city.friendly on arrival and with anything we needed.the cosy room was perfect for afew days.i thought the value was great for wot we had.very clean. Minium noise level just from people in n out thier rooms.

We have stayed at the Middletons hotel many times, have tried other hotels but nothing matches this hotel The breakfast and dinner are fabulous plenty of choice. The staff are always helpful and nothing is to much trouble for them. This hotel is within walking distance of the town centre, will definitely be staying again when we visit York again.
