Beautiful hotel, warm welcome on arrival. Although room not quite ready we were able to enjoy a drink in the garden and grabbed some lunch off a decent priced menu. Room lovely, nice large shower, decent storage and secure. Only down side no fridge. Breakfast was lovely buffet style served til 10am It’s a dog friendly hotel fine if the dogs are well behaved but we heard a fair bit of barking from rooms which did disturb us. We also had a room over looking the car park and it was noisy due to the patrons, not something the hotel can control Great location, nice clean hotel lovely vibe and decor would stay again but not in room 104

Absolutely loved our visit - the first time around for drinks and second time for a meal. A beautiful exterior bursting with flowers - there’s plenty of seating outdoors. The inside is very eclectic with loads of character, spacious, very comfortable, cosy and charming! Definitely worth a visit - slightly on the pricier side but the experience makes it so worth it. The meals were great although my chicken thai curry which looked rich, could have been better seasoned to make it more flavorful and wholesome. The sticky toffee pudding was delicious.

We have just returned from 3 nights stay at Knaresborough inn. There were 5 people and 2 dogs in our group. We must have been very challenging. There was my blind elderly dad and my elderly mum and their guide dog in 1 room and myself, my 13 year old son and 9 year old son with our 3 year old labradoodle in another room. I emailed ahead with some requests and they were quick to reply and did their best to accommodate us. We found all the staff there really helpful and kind. There was a problem with our shower but it was fixed quickly with no inconvenience to us. The rooms were spacious and clean, it was a hot weekend but fans were in the rooms to help. The beds were comfortable. We had a great breakfast each morning and ate at the inn every night as we found the food good and the inn comfortable. The prices were a little higher than what we usually pay but after looking round the town it was a similar price to everyone else. We didn't require our room cleaning every day which gave us a reward of a free drink for each person in the room on the evening via the app. We would happily stay here again.
