Express by Holiday Inn Liverpool Albert Dock

Lovely location and hotel in a beautiful old building on Albert dock surrounded by views, and plentiful bars, cafes and restaurants and a short stroll into the town centre. The staff were all welcoming and friendly but special thanks to Sophie on reception who we are so grateful to for helping us secure a room and early check in having been badly let down elsewhere. She went above and beyond and we truly appreciate it and she even remembered and checked on us the following day. Room large and clean great shower and a fan which was a welcome addition. Breakfast was also a great start to the day again friendly staff and fresh and delicious. Thank you ☺️

On arrival we were directed to a convenient car park close to the hotel with a discounted rate which was very helpful. The first room we were given was clean and comfortable but we could not see the view of the dock through the windows which were very dirty. After speaking to the reception staff we were allocated another room on the same level which was much better and we could actually see the Albert Dock . The beds are double size and comfortable but too small for us so the next time we visit we will book twin beds. The bar area is very comfortable with a nice view and the excellent complimentary breakfast is taken here as well. The location is very good, so convenient to the museums , restaurants and sights of Liverpool and only a short walk to the main shopping district. This was the best hotel experience we have had in several visits to Liverpool over the past few years .

Nice weekend stay at this Holiday Inn Express. Check-in was very smooth and room was great with nice views towards the water and arena. Breakfast required a booking due to how busy it got. Decent selection of food.
