Suites Hotel Knowsley

The hotel needs some serious upgrades , the smell around the floors and the rooms is bad. When we arrived the room was still dirty, the bedding had stains and hairs on it and the window and around it was full of ants and dead spiders and stains. We asked for clothes hangers for 3 days and still didn't get any, along with the room was cleaned for the 3 days either or towels change ect. The staff in the bar and breakfast were nice, The reception need serious guest relations training as they act like your disturbing them.

The hotel was chosen because it was a five-minute drive from my client’s premises. The rooms are spacious and designed as suites; they could do with a refurbishment, but were generally all right. The restaurant is fine, provided you don’t have high expectations of it. I can’t comment on breakfast as I didn’t have any. The chambermaids aren’t very thorough with their cleaning; on several occasions, glasses weren’t cleared away and the bed linen, which had a stain on it, wasn’t changed (see photos). This is completely unacceptable. I wouldn’t book it again next time, as there are alternatives nearby. The staff gave a mixed impression, ranging from neutral-friendly to disinterested. I’ve experienced better.

Room was stifling 29 degrees. air con didn't work, asked for a fan and was told there are none, tried to get window open and after 20 mins managed to get it open 2 inches
