Diamonds Lodge Ltd

since booking this b&b and travelling it had new owners. The reviews were not as good and I was concerned. There was no reason to be. The owner sorted the 4 rooms out that I had booked not letting on to my husband that other members of our family would be arriving. The b&b was clean, with nice white towels and bedding. There was a nice area in the garden to sit out. Location was perfect for what we required.

Was not the comfortable place we where expecting old beds dusty dirty bathroom broken fixtures, was expecting a full English which we had booked for six months ago was given a basket on arrival by cleaner for the next morning poor contents no fresh milk no fruit juice warm yoghurts over ripe fruit no fridge in room was cleaned once in 4 days bin left overflowing no clean cups just turned up side down was not told before we arrived about the change in the breakfast to continental had we had we would have asked for our money back hospitalty 0 nobody on site to speak to no greetings in or leaving property we defiantly would not recommend to any one

I booked 4 rooms for 8 guest last January and the reviews were very good. Since then the guest house as been taken over and the reviews are not so good. There was a warm welcome from Ismar when we arrived and he was very helpful. The room was clean with nice white bedding and soft white towels. There was tea and coffee making facilities. Location is very good for walking into and out of the city. Since the guest house was taken over there is no cooked breakfast. There is a breakfast box in the room. This was fine but I had paid for cooked breakfast. I would recommend this guest house and myself and our family and friends would stay here again.
