Holiday Inn Express York

Just had a weekend break at this hotel , nice hotel the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, it's a bit out of York but we just used it as a stepping stone to the Yorkshire coast , evening staff at the reception was so helpful and breakfast staff were excellent, certainly would recommend a stay

A very standard HI Express, location was convenient for us, but I think it is popular for business guests. Staff were pleasant and helpful, breakfast was OK but we have experienced better in other HI Expresses.

Had the pleasure of staying here for three nights after driving down from Glasgow in the middle of the night due to family medical emergency. Staff were so helpful and couldn’t do enough for my wife and I during a worrying time. Big shout out to Chris, the manager and staff who went above and beyond. Breakfast was cracking too.
