Middlethorpe Hall & Spa

I cannot rate our stay at Middlethorpe Hall too highly. A comfortable , beautifully decorated hotel set in stunning, well cared for grounds. The staff could not be more helpful, especially porters and serving staff; and we particularly enjoyed talking to gardening staff who were very generous sharing their time and knowledge. We very much look forward to returning

We recently stayed in a beautiful courtyard suite, which felt completely timeless and comfortable. The hotel itself is a stunning, stately property nestled within magnificent, tranquil, and peaceful gardens.What we loved:Fantastic Staff: Every single team member was incredibly helpful, and absolutely nothing was too much trouble for them.Exceptional Concierge Service: A massive shout-out to James, who went above and beyond to help us plan a day trip to Whitby. He took the time to mark a map with scenic places for us to visit along the way, which made our drive incredibly special.The Setting: The grounds are exceptionally beautiful and offer a perfect, peaceful escape.The only negative:The Shower Setup: The shower is located over the bath, and its design makes it impossible to turn on without getting completely drenched. If you do not intend to wash your hair, this is a major inconvenience. A simple adjustment or a shower cap is definitely needed here.Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and the incredible service from James and the team truly made our stay memorable. We would highly recommend it!.
