We stayed here for two days and regretted it. We booked this so called dog friendly accommodation which is a wooden cabin outside the main B&B in the front Garden. The cabins are just garden sheds and pricey for an up market shed. They are as soundproof as a shed and what we didn't realise was that the lane outside is actually a main road ( A614) to get to Scarborough and is used heavily from about 3am - 6am by trucks re- supplying the Scarborough area. The main road noise was a turnoff. Also, the cost of £110 per night for what is essentially a garden shed was just too much. OK they tried to turn it into a hotel room, with fridge, tv, shower etc (we never managed to get any hot water out of the basin taps) etc, but it remained a "shed". Charge £60 or so and we'd go back.

Stayed one night while walking the Yorkshire Wolds Way. It is a couple of miles off the path, but Rob very kindly picked us up in Goodmanham and took us back the next morning. Thyme Cottage is so comfortable and well-equipped. There was cereal, bread and eggs provided for breakfast, and we ordered pizza from the takeaway in Market Weighton, which was excellent. We were delighted to find this accommodation, as it is quite scarce in that area. Highly recommended!

We chose this accommodation after reading the great reviews and weren’t disappointed! Lovely location and fantastic parking. The suite was very clean with TV and bath. Many people mention the milk in the fridge which was a nice touch. The bed was easily the most comfortable we have had. Good Chinese takeaway and chip shop not far away either. Will stay here again.
