Lovely place, very classy. We didn’t come to stay however facilities appear of a high quality. We came for Sunday dinner which was delicious. Only downfall was that it was slightly salty, which i don’t mind but my partner was put off slightly. otherwise, I would definitely recommend

Break-king

Bed very uncomfortable, Breakfast was poor overcooked bacon cold coffee! Parking an additional £18.00 per night as I was told it was a private car park but yes private to the hotel, as they charged it to the room ( rip off), and car got covered in tree sap while parked and needed a valet.( definitely not 4 star) A real disappointment as I have driven by this hotel on numerous visits to York and thought how nice it looked , so I decided this time to book it. I won’t make that mistake again!!
