The Nags Head

Stayed here two nights had a lovely time lovely pub amazing food great start and owner. Will highly recommend. Great location 20 min walk to the town. Welcoming and friendly atmosphere

Nice little Pub for a drink and dinner in beautiful Heworth. Had the special for Beef and Guinness pie .. yum.. big serves couldn’t finish but there was a new menu with variety. Staff and new owners very friendly. Recommend you give them a go.

It was a experience but not a good one rear of the pub is like a building site.onlybacces to the rooms was via a metal fire escape scaffolding every where.room was small cold and cramped.shower was either scolding or freezing and door was hanging off.went outside on arrival to be greeted by two locals spitting and swearing Infront of my partner.she felt intimidated by this behaviour.the land lady came out with a lovely blonde alsation that was using the rear carpark as a lavatory. hence excrement every where.the fire alarm went off this morning at just past 8 no knock on the door etc good job the place wasn't on fire.we went out and was greeted by a disheveled man saying some one had burnt the toast ? Strange as there wasn't any body up until the fire alarm went off and people on the same landing started shouting as they was the night before Until 1 am we made a quick exit.nevee to return
