HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS NORTHAMPTON M1, JCT.15

Great location just off J15 of the M1. Staff very friendly and welcoming, hotel bar and restaurant bright and spacious. We stayed in room 21 which was very spacious, had everything we need including an iron and ironing board if needed. There was also a note in the bathroom of what you could request if needed eg.toothbrush. cotton pads, sewing kit etc. A little note the hairdryer wasnt too hot so took longer than normal to dry my hair but thats just preference not a problem. The complimentary breakfast was plentiful and hot, also had croissants of a very nice quality,toast, cereals yogurt. There is an evening menu if you'd like to have a quick bite what i saw looked good and they had various options but i didn't order as there is also a Harvester opposite the hotel. In my opinion this hotel have got it right and we had an excellent stay. Not sure we'll be back in this area but I wouldn't hesitate to stay again if we are.

The location was spot on for an onward journey to London. The hotel is fantastic. Walking in the lobby is spotless and had a clean smell. We were greeted with a smile by Millie. The corridors and room were as spotless as the lobby. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, and dressed smartly. The breakfast was of a good standard and was included in with the price of the room. I cannot fault anything about our stay and will certainly return when visiting the area

Stopped to break up journey - easy to book on line; friendly checkin staff & easy to book in. Pleasant environment in bar & prices reasonable. Rooms are very clean & large. Breakfast is included & catered for a range of food preferences. Scrambled eggs, sausage, beans and hash browns - no tomatoes or mushrooms but that’s ok. It’s included in the price so can’t complain. There is breakfast cereals, fruit & yogurt and pastries - so all in all wide range of options. I would break my journey up by staying here again as well positioned by motorway junction.
