The Sun Inn

Very comfortable beds, nice bedding and towels, evening meal and the breakfast were very good, hosts were very welcoming and attentive. Even offered his garage to park my motorcycle. Dog friendly pub and rooms. We would stay again.

As I was visiting Hadrian's Wall this inn was a perfect place to stay for 3 days. The English breakfast was outstanding, and one of the managers is Italian and he did the best variety of pasta's that I have ever had. They have a cute little pub for a pint or two.. We really appreciated the warm welcome in a dog friendly, traditional pub. Our room was homely, spacious and comfortable with a really good supply of tea/coffee etc , toiletries and towels. Breakfast choices were great and well cooked. Altogether the hospitality felt genuine and generous.
