What a refreshing experience staying at Alnwick Lodge was I enjoyed breakfast at a large dining table lit with dinner candles this encouraged chat with the other guests staying. Fresh melon and other fruits on offer,I don’t eat meat so couldn’t order the full English but plenty other options to choose from. Friendly helpful staff ,and an antique shop available to browse in! A delightful stay.

Wonderful hotel with unique rooms to suit the curious traveller. Super breakfast included in a tranquil, rustic setting.

Lovely property just off the A1, with nice comfortable furnishings. Our room (Dovecote) was a good size with a cozy ensuite shower room. Rooms are in converted stable blocks around a central courtyard with a cosy shared lounge available. Breakfast was excellent - served on big shared tables in the dining room, and a selection of continental breakfast and a full cooked breakfast. Staff and owners were friendly and helpful. Will happily stay here again if we are in the area. Close to the lovely towns of Alnwick with its beautiful castle, dining options and other attractions. Family rooms also available and parking onsite.
