1st impressions.... all the bird poo on the doorway, disgusting. However The hotel was clean and tidy ,lovely and central in the town. There was no hairdryer, i had to buy one, then there is no mirror near a plug socket,and the pillows are not the best... flat! On your description it says boutique style accommodation, a little way to go, but I would stay again wirh a few weeks here and there.

Good sized room (I was room 2 - king sized bed). They were responsive when it was a last minute booking. Grateful for this. Close to the station. If you are a light sleeper, you may prefer to specify having a room that is further away from the road (the windows are single paned in the king sized room). On my departure, I did email to let them know that the room smelt of sick, though didn’t get a reply to my email. I did also mention that the WiFi details didn’t seem to work. Hopefully these issues have now been resolved, though it was disappointing I didn’t get a response. Hence 3 stars.

We had a great time in Berwick and staying at cara Lodge. Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Everything you need is in the room, really nice comfortable bed and lovely modern feel to the rooms. The bathroom was large and looked newly refurbished. I'd definitely stay here again.
