The Captains Lodge

We went for 2 days at captains lodge and we couldn't if asked for a better place to stay. Very clean, location perfect(the sea straight in front of our room). The landlady Kath could not of been a more welcoming...great hospitality. Rich & Mags.

Excellent stay, brilliant host, just poor weather. Room was great although not the sea view the booking.com photos lead my wife to believe she’d booked. It was great nonetheless. Very comfortable 4 poster bed and spacious room with lots of nice little touches. Kathleen was very helpful with local tips and even offered us another nights stay free of charge because the weather on the Saturday had been so poor. Would definitely stay again

The captains lodge was one of the best we have ever stayed in. The whole experience could not be faulted. Cathy was an excellent host and the room was spotlessly clean with excellent views out to sea. Would have no hesitation going back and would highly recommend!
