I very much liked the refurbished room which was quiet and comfortable. I was impressed by the electric blinds and by the fact that the hot drinks range included chocolate. The wifi signal was strong. I had to laugh at the ten yes 10 USB charging sockets in the room but I am sure someone will use them all. I needed a room in the area and so was very pleased that the hotel made the room available even though there were (very) minor snagging items outstanding (missing bathroom tiles and making good the old location of the socket). Thank you for doing this. I recommend this hotel and will seek to stay here again next time I am in the area.

Excellent short stay friendly staff especially at (inclusive) breakfast which was fantastic nice cosy single room with all amenities bathroom (ceiling could use a repaint) corridors were being repainted at my stay. Attached chinese restaurant seemed well attended (didn't use) great value via third party. Handy for town centre shops pubs restaurants etc. Hourly bus to Nottingham centre. So pleasant to stay at a non chain independent hotel. Highly recommended would definitely stay again.

This hotel is in a lovely town and so central much, much more, including Nottingham and Sherwood Forest. The rooms are great and the restaurant has to be seen to be believed, incredible food, amazing decor and a level of service seen so rarely in today’s age. Very highly recommended.
