Fantastic stay! The mansion room was beautiful, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the meals were very nice.
The Elton John and George Michael tribute act was really good.
Will definitely be returning.

Had a lovely 2 night stay in one of the mansion rooms. The room is lovely and big and so is the bathroom. Our room was lovely and cool and we had the best nights sleep, its so quite and relaxing.
I agree that some of the staff looked like they didn't want to be there but nobody was rude.
Food was delicious...in all 3 places we ate.
We spent a lot of time in the pool and jacuzzi's outside. The only criticism I have is that the outside terrace in the spa could be a lot bigger. There should also be some parasols by the sunbeds as there was no shade.
This place is crying out for an outside pool with loungers. There is plenty of room for one. If we are going to keep experiencing this weather in the future please build an outside pool.
Entertainment was good....George & Elton were fantastic. They looked and sounded exactly like them.
We had a lovely break and will definitely return.
Thankyou

We had a wonderful 4 nights, however the food in certain restaurants was disappointing. We found the choice of main meals in the Travelling Duke very limited and not up to the standard we would expect. Market Kitchen was fine, but staff shortages were obvious especially during busy times. Unfortunately we only managed to eat in Brasserie 32 once for breakfast as there was no available slots when we tried to book our meals. This was only due to the fact we booked this break only a few weeks before, so most of the good time slots had gone and Brasserie 32 is the most popular restaurant, so there was no slots available when we booked.
The entertainment was generally good. However Lauren Faye Moss was outstanding and George & Elton were also absolutely brilliant.
We didn’t realise just how big the hotel is, be prepared for a bit of walking getting from one end to the other. Due to an injury I’m using a walking stick and therefore found it quite difficult at times. That said, accessible facilities are very good, lots of accessible toilets around the hotel, and lifts to get you up and down wherever there’s any stairs even if it’s only one or two.
For the most part the staff were good. Some seemed like they didn’t want to be there, but then a lot were excellent. We did go to the Wellness Centre to check out the swimming pool. I had a dip in the water even with a dodgy foot. I wasn’t sure about going but a young lady called Rose was fantastic. She guided me to the accessible changing rooms, took my husband to put a towel on a lounger for me and made sure I was ok. What an absolute star she was.
A shout out also to Shelbie, a new staff member, who was friendly and approachable. Her Cardio Beats sessions were great fun and we also enjoyed the quizzes.
So after our experience we would definitely go back, hopefully next year. I’m sure we will enjoy it even more when I’m fully fit again. I do recommend you try this hotel for yourselves. I’m sure you won’t disappointed.
