Bignell Park Hotel

Just returned from a fantastic one night stay. We couldn’t fault it. It’s a really lovely place to stay - modern and stylish, great service, good food (we had a curry for our evening meal and it was as good as we’ve had anywhere, and the breakfast was lovely).

We recently stayed at the Chesterton Hotel and found very little, if anything, to fault. The hotel is modern and well presented throughout. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and featured a Juliet balcony, which was a nice touch. The bed was large and comfortable, and the bathroom was immaculate, with a generous walk-in shower. The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. On arrival we were looking for something light to eat. While the menu featured bar snacks, the staff were happy to arrange sandwiches for us when we asked, which was much appreciated. We also dined in the restaurant. The menu has an Indian influence and the food was very good. The prices were reasonable and represented good value for the quality offered. Service was attentive without being intrusive, and the staff were professional and welcoming. Breakfast the following morning was excellent, with a wide selection of hot items as well as cereals, pastries, fruit and juices. Everything was fresh and well presented, with plenty of choice available. Overall, this was a very enjoyable stay. The hotel combines comfortable accommodation, good food and excellent service. We would have no hesitation in recommending the Chesterton Hotel and would happily stay again.

Visited for afternoon tea, very welcoming , lovely surroundings . The food and extensive tea list was outstanding. Highly recommend
