A beautiful welcoming,clean hotel just on the outskirts of the main city centre It was in good distance to where we needed to be and uber was prompt and professional to and from the venue at all times of the day and evening the food was very good quality as was the service throughout our two day stay . Unfortunately due to the hotel being around 200 years old there was no capacity for the hotel to have air conditioning installed and as the weather was gloriously hot, the building itself was also uncomfortably hot, particularly the private room Fans were supplied and were also situated around the hotel to try and cool the accomodation down Staff were attentive and very polite

My wife Alice and I really enjoyed our stay at the Cotswold Lodge Hotel. Our stay was very comfortable and we enjoyed the restaurant onsite. The room was quiet and spacious. The Oxford city centre is easily accessible by buses running frequently outside the hotel.

This hotel was amazing - could Not rate it more highly for comfort or food (gluten free). The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and we had a great chat with one staff member over dinner. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, and the long size bed was comfortable. While there is no aircon, it was not needed as it gets cold overnight (we were in a downstairs courtyard bedroom) and the window could be left open with a fan in the room. The continental and 5 Star cooked breakfast was beyond what we expected, and gluten free was no problem. We also had an amazing gluten free dinner, from a menu which was 90% gluten free.
