Huge thank you to the staff at the crazy bear especially the team on reception who are exemplary. The housekeeping staff also need a special mention for their exceptional customer service skills which made our stay extra special. We literally can't rate highly enough how the people who work at the hotel literally cannot do enough to make you feel incredible! What a team of heros! We felt there was nothing they wouldn't do to make us more comfortable and more welcome 🤗 Special shout out to Sophie who is outstanding on reception as the face of the hotel for her wit warmth and people skills we LOVED 😍 HER! thank you for making the previous disaster of our cancelled Norway holiday not feeling quite so awful and for looking after me with my eye infection. You literally saved the day and we had a blast. The place is mouth droppingly awesome for decor and originality. Quirky staff quirkier decor it was all beltingly 👍 top notch! Thanks guys we will be back! Keep doing what you are doing. Love Janey and Joe x

We stayed at the Crazy Bear for our anniversary and had a really enjoyable stay. We booked the Cosy Room which was perfect and loved the roll top bath. A special mention to Tanya & Sophie who were excellent from my first call to enquire about a stay to the moment we checked in. They were friendly & helpful and just made us feel very welcome. We had dinner in the outside restaurant & the food was fantastic & the service was amazing. Overall we had a perfect experience at the Crazy Bear & would definitely recommend it. We'll certainly be coming back for another stay. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so special.

Firstly I just want to say the whole team at the hotel were incredibly lovely. From reception, to the bar staff and the team who served us food, couldn’t fault a thing. The actual hotel and restaurant is unique and beautiful to look at. We felt the rooms need looking at some smaller details, blinds broken, fairy lights behind bed flickering, no light working above dressing room table. But the major thing was there is no door or curtain to the bathroom, this may not feel like a big deal to everyone but as someone with a chronic illness, it was a little disastrous. Neither of us felt we had privacy, and felt super exposed. I started thinking about people with other chronic illnesses and the bathrooms are sometimes our escape to deal with it. Again the hotel is obviously beautiful, but even a curtain up might help with the bathroom situation. Thanks so much for a lovely stay though, we would stay again but perhaps the smaller rooms! :)
