We had a wonderful stay at Newton House, and Rebecca truly made it special. She went above and beyond what we expected, especially when we ran into a travel issue and needed some help. She was incredibly kind, helpful, and genuinely treated us like family. It’s those personal touches that you remember long after a trip is over. We felt very welcome and well taken care of throughout our stay. We would absolutely recommend Newton House, and a huge thank you to Rebecca for making our time in Oxford even better!

Great location because it is less than 10 minutes walk from the city center. Convenient parking at the back, but does not have enough spaces for all guests and you can not book, so those who arrive earlier can take advantage of this service. The room itself is small, but equipped with everything you need. The lady who welcomed us was very kind.

We booked last minute for a place to stay near the theatre when most hotels in Oxford were mad prices for a Saturday night. Newton House is less than 10 mins walk from the centre of the city and offered really good value for Monday - the place was very clean. beds were comfortable and the room had a great shower. We were also able to park at the back of the guest house which was really convenient and outside the new congestion charge zone. There is no breakfast on offer but we walked a few minutes to The Independent Cafe, opposite Christchurch and had a lovely coffee and breakfast bap. The only thing I regret is not booking direct as it would have been even better value!
