We stayed here last week and were absolutely delighted. This little hotel offers the very best possible service to its guests. The staff are so helpful, friendly and fun, the food and drinks are excellent and the rooms are spotlessly clean. The hotel is old, but the modern bathrooms are very nice and fit in well. Expect quirky features, a fabulous dining hall, and beautiful gardens. I would especially like to thank Bella, for outstanding customer service. Very highly recommended.

You cannot fault the kindness and hospitality of the staff. Unfortunately the hotel was extremely run down. The stair rail was black and dirty. The bedroom carpet was nearly threadbare and there were a few coat hangers on a hook to hang your clothes on. There was a rip in the bedsheet and the bathroom was not fit for purpose. It smelt, the sink gurgled all night and all of the fixtures appeared to not be fully attached to the walls. A very disappointing stay.

We stayed for one night, the bed was very comfortable & the bath was huge. We had food from the restaurant & that was amazing. Breakfast included & was lovely too. Rooms are slightly tried but this didn’t affect our stay.
