Lands of Loyal Hotel

From our arrival at the Lands of Loyal Hotel, everything has been excellent. The hotel has a wonderful feel to it , the beautiful lounge is a perfect place to sit relax and enjoy the atmosphere . The staff have all be friendly and professional , and the food is amazing. I have just read the review left yesterday regarding “sconegate” and feel that it was totally unnecessary and overblown. Borden has been very professional and polite throughout our stay , we witnessed the incident whereby Borden remained calm and polite , the raised voice was by the customer . At the end of the day 1) nowhere leaves complimentary scones. And 2) you shouldn’t have eaten it !

Everything about our stay was excellent, from the flexibility, friendliness, and professionalism of the staff to the food and comfort.

If it’s a VERY quiet break you are after, then fair enough- just be aware it is very, very quiet. This is not a criticism of the hotel, just pointing out that you can hear the clocks ticking- no TV in any public spaces and nobody in the tiny bar. Staff seemed nice, but we actually checked out and lost a night’s payment- just too quiet for us.
