The strangest hotel in desperate need of a total refurbishment. I cannot understand the other reviews, it’s as if other people were reviewing a different hotel! As soon as we walked through the door, before checking in, we had the breakfast menu read out to us and were expected to choose. Our room, a premium room, was antiquated, wallpaper coming off the wall and a very unpleasant bathroom, the toilet didn’t flush properly. Friendly staff, especially Josh, but unfortunately this didn’t make up for the terrible facilities.

This Hotel sits slightly above the town of Pitlochry and is a short walk 15 min walk or so form the main shops on the high street. The room we stayed in was comfortable and just what we needed for a relaxing few days and was great value for money. The hotel offers evening meals (pre booked) and the food is superb, as was the breakfast menu. The hotel was very clean and has a wonderful reception room where you can relax, read a book and talk about your adventures during the day. Overall I would say we will be heading back there soon.
