Allandale House

I’ve stayed several times in a couple of different apartments, and am always thoroughly satisfied with the place. Perfectly located on the High Street, just a couple of minutes walk from the pubs/shops etc but far enough away to not attract the noise - it’s a very peaceful spot. Always immaculately clean, comfortable and well maintained. Decor is very modern but still has many original features. TV, coffee machine, fresh milk, fridge, biscuits and bottled water are all included. The bathroom has decent toiletries and nice towels. The rooms are compact, but more than adequate. There are a few complimentary parking spaces to the rear, but also plentiful free street parking directly outside. Having stayed in a few other local establishments, this is by far the best of its type in the area, and is extremely good value for money. Breakfast rolls are available to order but I haven’t used this service, nor have I used the kitchen facilities. Check in is online/automated, and is effortless. Ive only had the need to contact the owners once (due to issues with an external booking platform) and the response was immediate. The only things that could improve the rooms are a fan and a USB charging socket - and they most definitely are not complaints!

The owner is very Rude and Unprofessional. The suites are pokey and over crowded. The Accommodation is on the High Street ,very noisy and not idyllic. Very disappointed and won't book again.
