Good food as always. Service very good too.

We had a great evening on Friday Fish Night We met friends for a nice glass of wine in the courtyard Then moved to the dining room for dinner Haddock goujons for all of use with great chips and hasselback potatoes! Followed by banoffee slice! And accompanied by a couple of bottles of good house white!

Had one night stay primarily to visit Rutland Water. There is Parking on site, a lovely sitting area for drinks inside and out. Rooms were fine. Very comfy bed and pillows and perfectly clean. Probably due a refurbishment in the future but perfectly acceptable for us. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and we also enjoyed a very nice dinner and relaxed in the lounge afterwards. Dog friendly as well. They also have a small cinema on the site although we didn’t try it out. Oakham Castle is also worth a visit.
