Abbey Court House

We spent 2 nights here. Accommodation is expensive in Shrewsbury and this guest house suited our budget. It’s a mile or so out of town. The room has all you need including a kettle and nice biscuits. Our reception wasn’t great on arrival. No warmth. No interest in us. We were not told the WiFi code and had to go back to enquire. Why not put the code in the room? I presume they’re not serving breakfast at the moment. We were certainly not offered that option. If you’re coming by car the free car park is a good plus as it’s outside the continuous traffic jams of Shrewsbury.

Stayed here for a couple of nights whilst in Shrewsbury for work. Just a 10 minute walk from the centre made it a great location. Staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout the whole stay. The room was really nice with shower facilities, tv and an easy step out to the courtyard. Would definitely recommend.

I stayed here as I was working in the nearby hospital. It was clean, comfortable, friendly staff that served an excellent breakfast. I may be working again in Shrewsbury next year so will definitely return here
