Brompton Farmhouse B&B

We took 2 double rooms which were pretty and spacious. The breakfasts are very good - as you would expect from a cookery school! Plenty of parking. Nice gardens but they could do with some additional seating - 1 small stone bench in a flower bed was too tight for 3 people to sit on and would have been cosy for just 2. Would stay here again.

Amazing marquee in the grounds but close to the amenities in the main house. Fabulous location, fire pits dotted around for warmth, make as much noise as you like up to midnight. Really great and novel party venue.

We booked into Brompton Farmhouse as we had booked an Italian cookery course with Marcus Bean & decided to make a weekend of it. We were met at the door by Marcus & shown to our room, which was a good size with a large onsuite bathroom. Coffee maker and, still warm, homemade biscuits finished the ambience off nicely. Windows overlooking the large garden complete with free range chickens wandering around. We thought the big strutting cockeral was going to be a problem, but if he did crow we didn't hear him as comfortably fast asleep. Breakfast was cooked by Marcus's own fair hand & consisted of locally sourced fair, homemade choice of breads & propper free range eggs from previously mentioned chickens. Great stay, highly recommended.
