We stayed here for two nights with the second day being our wedding day. The staff from as soon as you enter the hotel are attentive, welcoming and cannot do enough for you. We asked to change rooms if possible as we were in a room that had a very small bathroom. We hoped that we could use the bathroom as a changing room for our wedding day. We fully expected in August to not have this option, however due to a late cancellation we were moved to an upgraded room at no cost. Dinner on day one was spectacular and a lovely lamb dish and desserts. Come our wedding day and everyone was aware and made all our visitors welcome and helped where needed. While we were getting ready, complimentary cookies and champagne arrived, such a lovely touch. The hotel arranged for a chauffeured car to take us to our wedding venue. When we got back to the hotel at around 10pm, we had cocktails and the maitre d (Nick I think his name was) welcomed us and when we knew we had just been married arranged for some petit four sweets. The name outside of our room had already been changed to Mr & Mrs. Breakfast on both days was lovely, the toast was to die for and there were options for pastries, fruit, juices and continental. We had cooked breakfast. The hotel itself is set in a magnificent area of Bath, with beautiful gardens in between the two ornate buildings that make up the hotel. We used the spa area and pool which were spotless. Complimentary drinks were available in Alfie’s room, and towels and robes as standard. We couldn’t have asked for a better start to married life.

My daugthers and I had a very lovely 4 days stay in these beautiful suroundings. Our rooms on the other side of the garden were so nice, the staff so kind and helpful and the restaurant was splended. I would love to come again.

Practically Perfect in every way!! I stayed one night with my mum on a hot summer’s day in July and we throughly enjoyed our stay. First stop the reception and checking in process were a breeze and the concierge were a delight and kindly valet parked our car and brought our luggage to our room. We arrived at 2 pm and although check in is 3pm we were showed to our room. A junior suite on the ground floor meet and exceeded my expectations, high end interiors, fine bed linen and super comfy pillows, we took afternoon tea on the lawn surrounding the hotel’s beautiful English countryside garden, an absolute delight. Coffee could have been better but I didn’t come her for the coffee so cest le vie, we didn’t use the restaurant for dinner as nothing on the menu appealed, that’s not to say it wasn’t good. Breakfast was lovely with everything you would expect from a high end hotel, only complaint is that my poached egg was slightly a little undercooked, All the staff I encountered were very pleasant and I noticed they were all over a certain age which meant the service was better than a lot of places I have visited. I generally feel a lot of hotels and restaurants hire students or school leavers that lack experience and when you’re paying a premium for high end establishments they just don’t cut it for me. Well done to The Royal Crescent hotel and Thank you for a great stay. If/when I can afford it I hope return one day ,
