Best Western Shrubbery Hotel

Thankyou to all the staff, especially Annie who made our wedding extra special. All our Family and Friends had a wonderful day and stay. Ours was a small wedding, 28 of us in total, we received a five star service. The food was amazing! Totally recommend this venue if your looking for a reasonably priced wedding venue with a 5 star rating ✨️ ✨️ ✨️ ✨️ ✨️

We recently had our wedding reception at The Shrubbery Hotel and we had the best day! From the initial booking, we had a point of contact and felt supported throughout the entire process through meetings and emails with Ashley and Annie. We were always able to discuss any queries or any brain wave ideas we had and nothing was ever a problem. We were allowed to use the space exactly as we wished, which made the whole day not only just as we wanted, but also personal to us, rather than feeling like just another wedding. We had a sit down meal and the food was beautiful. There have been many compliments from our guests, particularly about the roast beef and the brownie! We also had pork rolls and roast potatoes for our evening food, which went down a storm and we even hired the ice cream machine for our day guests on arrival, which was an absolute hit on such a hot day! Annie coordinated the day itself and she really was truly incredible! Not only did she ensure everything ran smoothly, but she also regularly checked in with us to make sure we were happy and was always on hand to help with any requests. Nothing was ever a problem and she went above and beyond for us, not only on the day itself but in the days before and after. All of the staff worked incredibly hard throughout the day and were always helpful and friendly. We stayed at the hotel on the night of the wedding and we had most of the hotel booked out with our guests. We arranged room bookings with Sandra, who was brilliant and always happy to help when we needed to make changes. The rooms themselves, especially the bridal suite, were lovely with comfy beds and a clean and fresh feel. Everything from start to finish was perfect and we would highly recommend The Shrubbery Hotel for weddings, other events or hotel stays, it's an absolute gem! If we could...we would do it all again!

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding venue! The setting was beautiful, the staff were fantastic (big shout out to Annie, she is incredible and made the planning process so easy!) everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The food was outstanding and received so many compliments from our guests! Everyone had a wonderful time and the whole day exceeded our expectations.
