Glendower House - B&B

Returned to the Glendower as we had a great experience when last in the area about 11 years ago. Still perfect! Great friendly welcome from Peter. Lovely clean room which seemed to have been recently refurbished. Large very comfortable bed. Quality hospitality tray plus a fridge with bottled water and fresh milk. Fantastic breakfast with everything you could want. Went for the "Full Monty" on the first morning and it almost defeated me. Hopefully won't be so long before our next visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay at Glendower House, Minehead. Direct booking was easy and efficient via owner, Peter. On arrival we were shown to a lovely, airy, ground floor room. Our room had ( more than ) everything required: matched furniture, plenty of storage space, comfortable beds with quality dressings, modern TV, silent fridge, a generous hospitality tray, and: an ample en~suite containing one of the best showers we've ever had the pleasure to use! We encountered no noise disturbance. Although Glendower House does have a car park, we were happy with a roadside space outside our room window. A multiple choice breakfast was served to taste, containing quality produce that was cooked and served to perfection. And: lovely tea, at breakfast and in our room. We were comfortable throughout our stay. Peter was friendly and professional without being intrusive. Shops, eateries, sea front, buses and services were all a level walk of less than 5 minutes. We have no hesitation in recommending Glendower House, Minehead.

I cannot think of a single thing the hosts could do to improve. A spacious, spotless and gorgeous room with every amenity, including treats and luscious toiletries, all locally produced. Quiet with private parking and a nice garden out the back. A warm and informative host, and the best breakfast with a huge selection to choose from. I cannot recommend it enough!
