HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS

Great experience when we stayed here. Clean, good food, great hub location to nearby zoo. Every staff member was outrageously helpful. Kids were given chocolate bars when we arrived. We asked for extra pillows, no problem. Asked for a spare bedsheets to use as a duvet because we were too hot. They gave us that and a fan without asking. Filled up bottles with milk because we didn't have a fridge. Can't fault ut one bit

As I walked in to check in I heard the hotel guest ahead of me say *This is like a second home to me! I have been here two months! * 5The guest who said this smiled and Julie at Reception smiled at him welcoming him back. The guest turned to me and said that the staff are very friendly and that the breakfast is hot. I had a friendly conversation with Julie who pointed the cold water and ice and helpfully mentioned that they serve food till 9 and that there is also a restaurant across the road. Even the taxi driver who drove me to the hotel was warm and friendly refusing to charge me money when he knew I was from Pakistan, saying I was his guest. I insisted on paying, ofcourse!. My room is comfortable and clean and I have only checked in an hour ago but am confident that the rest of my stay is going to be equally pleasant. I am also pleased to report that I did win 250 point by turning the wheel that Julie keeps at reception which, I think, I is an excellent touch!

Location of hotel was good and gave us easy access to M18 and A1(m) and was easy to get into central Doncaster from it .Plenty free parking at hotel .Staff were friendly and efficient at checking us in .Room was very clean , comfy bed , good shower. We stayed 2 nights and breakfast on both days was very good , plenty of staff available to help and clear tables etc .I thought it was good value as breakfast included and parking was free , I would definitely stay at this hotel again .
