Regent Hotel

Always wanted to stay in THE REGENT sadly a bit disappointed It’s a very old hotel and that’s what I liked about it But very overpriced for what we got Over £150 for one night ( no breakfast included) No tv and the bathroom was a mess With a leak from the toilet And a pillow case or similar mopping up the water We mentioned it at reception and when we got back it was dry Nevertheless it wasn’t good. Bed was really large and comfortable Tea and coffee/iron available

Excellent hotel. We booked 2 rooms for my son & daughter in law’s wedding. Friendly staff clean & spacious rooms. Wood definitely stay again.

The room was very small with not much room to move around the bed. It was also a bit dated and dirty. The pictures on the website do not reflect the room I had The shower only ran cold despite leaving it running for a while hoping it would warm up. The 2 only pillows were flat and useless so had to use the decorative pillow on the bed to get some sort of sleep which I'm sure isn't washed as often. The bathroom shower gel was nearly empty And to top it all the fire alarm went off in the night about 1am. Rang loud for quite a while with no apologies/explanations from the staff the following day
